Diane brings the strategic focus and mature business judgment gained during her 29 years of experience as a corporate executive and management consultant in the health care and project management arenas. In the past, her primary contributions include managing the corporate finances, website initiatives, project management initiatives, research & product development and guiding process improvement activities.
Diane's background includes entrepreneurial experience as founder of Collins Consulting Services, a health care and management consulting company she founded in 1986. Her consulting duties included serving as the Acting Vice President for Aetna Managed Plans service center located in Minneapolis, MN and she successfully managed a claims, billing & enrollment, customer service, COB and Customer Reporting departments totaling 400+ employees and a budget of $11M. Other consulting assignments included Acting Director of Claims Services and Project Leader for Aetna Managed Plans. Her clients also included a Fortune 500 company (United Health Care - Minneapolis, MN), where she managed key contracting assignments related to developing a self-funded managed care product, software design, project management and establishing a new product development office.
